Right at the end of the road this small parking area holds about 25-30 cars. The picnic area beyond has a few BBQs and picnic beaches. There is also a pagoda that offers a little bit of shelter if you happen to be there to get it. A public toilet is available but pretty basic. Across the stepping stones and follow the gorge there are many places to access the water and dip your toes. The water is only shallow so good for the littlies to play.

What a lovely picnic area. Ideal for little ones who like waterway without you worrying about dirty water or depth of water. Spot can get busy during holiday so suggest you get there early to get a good spot if you intend to be there for a while.

Toilet and picnic area at the car park.
Follow the river track 2km to Graham’s Dam an easy walk. If you are fit take the circuit track climb up to the top of the range. Very steep ascent/descent requires Rock scramble at times. Carry water. Total 3 hr round trip from car park.

Great place for a family walk. Beware, the second set of stepping stones are pretty far apart and can be tricky for little legs. Please note there will probably only be scattered waterholes in summer as the river is seasonal.

Thoroughly enjoyed the outing and the long and interesting walk.

Unfortunately the toilets at the picnic area did not appear not have hand basins for hygiene after use of the toilet (a tank is situated behind but not connected to anything).
