Mason, Tom, Ben and Lucy and the gang at 'Go ride a wave' are amazing. The focus and clarity at emparting knowledge is perfect and they're infectious love of the sport has seen me and my son Buster driving an hour and a half at least once a week for the last month and a bit. We're totally hooked. Not only were we both standing up after our first lesson., I even did a dodgy headstand on my board today. Can't recomend it more.

A friend and I took a Stand Up Paddle Board lesson with Go Ride a Wave yesterday. We were both complete beginners so thoroughly appreciated the care taken to talk us through what to expect, techniques and how to stand and get paddling as quickly as possible. Tom was so friendly, and really patient with us as he answered all our questions. It was all pretty amazing. Anglesea wetlands are so picturesque and there is no better way to see it than from the water. We saw delightful little fairywrens and loads of wildlife.
I can’t recommend these lessons more highly, for a really great day out that is FUN, with beautiful scenery great value, and with invaluable skills gained.

I booked my 9-year-old daughter in for a couple of days out of school fun and the team at Go Rie a Wave didn't disappoint! Nathan, Lucy, and Xanda were all extremely personable and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. There is a genuine buzz around the place that left us smiling all day.
Evelyn had the time of her life and the most exciting thing for her parents was the fact she came home exhausted and slept in the next morning!!
I've already enquired about the school, holiday programs & will be booking in again as soon as they open up! A huge thanks for having fun, teaching her life skills, and keeping her safe!!

We hired some stand up paddle boards from them the service was great because they helped us and they were very friendly. There was no limit on where you could go in the river as well as 2 or 4 hour time limits the paddles were adjustable and they had the option to wear a life jacket if you wanted to.

Our instructor was Joel and he was excellent. This was a first time experience for both myself and my friend and we had a great time. Joel was patient, helpful and shared many stories of his experiences with this activity. Even before we commenced our SUP all of the staff we encountered in the shop/office were friendly and couldn't assist us enough.
I highly recommend the Go Ride a Wave staff, especially Joel and this activity.

Our family did the stand up paddle boarding skills lesson in Angelsea with Chelsea. Two adults and two children had an awesome time paddling up the river. Chelsea was great and even towed our daughter back upstream to get back to the start of the course.
We really recommend this as a great family experience.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding with Sara - this was so much fun. I was fortunate with the weather, it was sunny and warm, a perfect day.
The online booking was easy and the communication with GRAW was great.
Sara was brilliant - fun, patient and completely focused on ensuring that I got the most out of my lesson.
This is a terrific organisation.

We spent a beautiful afternoon learning how to SUP on the Anglesea River with a fabulous guide. Under her patient tutelage we got the basics down and were quickly cruising down the river looking out for wildlife. Reading our mood perfectly, she suggested we spend a few moments drifting gently, listening to the river sounds. Highly recommended, a fabulously relaxing experience!

Had a great Stand up paddleboard lesson with Joel, he was great with instructions and a lot of fun too. Have never tried it before, but am now looking at getting my on SUP, it was great. Highly recommend this experience, Joel and all the staff are great

Joined instructor Dean for a stand up paddleboarding lesson. Was fortunate to be the only one booked in so it was a very personalised lesson. We took off down the river at Anglesea which winds its way around the town through some great bush land. Overall a trip of 4.5km paddling. Great fun and Dean was a great guide and teacher.
