Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Exceptional service, beautifully clean facility full of games... but the two mini golf courses were the best. Well maintained gardens flanked well developed holes with enough challenge for all ages. My boys loved it almost as much as my Husband... who got his name on the Hole-in-one leader board. So much fun!

Fantastic! We are so happy that you had a great time. Congrats to the hubby for making the hole in one board. Next time ... he can try for the champions board. Ha !

We had a great afternoon here - mainly thanks to John’s hospitality.

The main course itself is great - plenty of holes to keep the whole family entertained - and there’s an excellent golf simulator and plenty of other games in the main reception area available too. Definitely worth a visit.

This was such a fun thing to do. The course isn’t too hard but really well laid out. It’s really very nice. The people are also really friendly. We had such a great time and would highly recommend this activity for something different when passing through.

Having initially visited this facility early in 2018 & with the recent addition of a second, albeit shorter course my son & I decided to give Great Ocean Road Mini Golf another go during school holidays.

As is our goal we will always endeavour to impart positive feedback in our reviews if & when warranted & in this case we did enjoy challenging each other to the larger scale versions of Kerplunk & Connect4 that are included in the price.
The overhead shade sails having been installed are a nice addition & with the bushes & plants coming into their own the overall appearance of the larger course is definitely now more attractive. Unfortunately this course remains inaccessible to persons in need of mobility aids.

[ Sadly despite the new course nothing has changed to make the venue physically inviting to persons with mobility limitations]:

At the time of our prior visit the owners were planning on allocating the front of the venue for trampolines. This did not eventuate & instead there is now a second, shorter golf course on site. Upon our arrival we were quite frankly gobsmacked to find that yet again the mini golf course has been built in such a way that makes it impossible to navigate in a wheelchair.

[ Summary]
The Great Ocean Road Mini Golf Course located in Aireys Inlet certainly has some positives. Staff appear friendly & the inclusion of large scale 'old time' games is a bonus. Prices are reasonable & parking free. There is an option to hold parties with a small kitchette available & as before the Virtual Golf Course is an option during the cold, Winter months.

However despite all of that there remains a serious problem that cannot & should not be overlooked nor avoided. Again there has been no allowance made in the design & construction of this secondary course when it comes to persons with physical limitations & disabilities.
In fact players must traverse a staircase to move on from one section to the next!
Consequently my family in good conscience cannot recommend this attraction to our fellow travellers & find it necessary to share our displeasure in an honest, albeit respectful manner.

Thank you for reading this review, we hope that it has been helpful. Please also refer to the photographs as they form a part of the review.

Hello Beck and Steven, Yes, our mini golf courses are not accessible by a wheelchair. The very nature of each hole means that, even without the steps that exist on some holes you would always have a concrete/brick edge to get over. These ensure the golf balls are kept in play. I understand that this may not be a deal breaker in all instances but does make it difficult. There is a 'back way' to avoid steps on the front 12 Apostle Course, but it would require going across the pebbles that make up the garden. Again, this is not ideal for wheelchairs. I hope the free clubhouse games that you mentioned created some fun for you. The Virtual Golf is also fully accessible for all. We do like to help where we can and do accept the Companion Card which I know has assist to make mini golf accessible to some. Lynelle

We did the 18 hole shipwreck cost course. The quality of the venue was very good. Well maintained. A good variety of holes. There is a large games room with other game options too. A good way to spend a few hours.

When holidaying we always visit the local mini golf centre. This one in Aireys Inlet is one of the best to date. A fun course with some really clever ideas incorporated on the course. Beautifully maintained and very reasonably priced. Refreshments and seating are available for after your 18 holes or for spectators. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had such a good time we visited again on our last day
