Came here at night last 2 nights but heavy rain so can't get out. After 9.30pm the gate will be closed and you can park upstairs nearby the gate and walk down. It a bit dark so remember to bring a torch!

Yes, plenty of families use the bbq tables and brought their own gazebo for shade.

It does have sheltered area but not too many. May be ring Mosman council to see if you can book it by paying a fees. It does have very big secured play area though which children will love.
