Fantastic tour, magical day! Learnt so much about Sydney. Saw all the major sites plus lots of hidden spots off the beaten track. Derek was the perfect tour guide!

My wife and I wanted to thank Alanah for a great introduction to Sydney and their way of life. It was a wonderful tour tailored to visit areas that we were not planning to already see. The tour was top notch, the lunch outstanding with beautiful views of Sydney harbors, very professional and comfortable at the same time. We felt we were out with a friend rather than someone we had only just met.
The one thing I would say set them apart for most of the other tours is the personal interactions we had with Just Sydney well before we left. Alanah made several suggestions on itineraries and things we could do when we finally arrived as well as what plans we already had in Sydney so that she could customize our tour.
Just Sydney is a great way to start your visit to a wonderful city. Highly, highly recommended.

I only had a short time in Sydney but wanted to make the most of it so booked a half day tour with Just Sydney Tours. As it was beastly hot that day (even at 3 pm when we started), we changed up the itinerary which was supposed to be four hours of walking and instead started by driving (in the air conditioned vehicle!) around the neighborhoods of Paddington and Darlington (delightful!) to Bondi Beach and a beverage overlooking the beach at Icebergs. By that point it had cooled down some so we parked the car and did the walking piece - The iconic Sydney Opera House, Harbor Bridge, Botanical Gardens, CBD and a bit of Barangaroo. We even came across a wonderful Christmas market for a little late afternoon food sampling and handmade / artisan Australian gift browsing! Final activity was private water taxi across the harbor and back to my hotel in the Rocks, which I explored that evening on my own. Great tour!!!

Alanah and Alex at “Just Sydney Tours” provided an unforgettable morning for my husband, son and myself. My husband uses an electric scooter to get around, and they just loaded his scooter into the back of their comfortable van and took us to places that were easily accessible to him. They were flexible in designing a tour that fit our interests and needs, not taking us to places we had already visited, and showing us some of the more out-of-the-way places that only locals might know about. We learned many interesting facts about the history of the area. Morning tea at Vaucluse House was a highlight for me. We loved every minute of the tour, and I would highly recommend “Just Sydney Tours” to anyone wanting to get an overview of this fabulous city!

We had a marvelous two days exploring Sydney, from Bondi Beach to the south of the harbor, to Manly Beach to the north, and all the interesting points between. This Vietnam Veteran was very surprised and pleased that we got a special tour of the Veteran's Memorial! The tour of the Blue Mountains was top notch in all respects! Our hosts were quite knowledgeable and answered every question completely, and with ease. I was also pleased with the tour of the nature preserve, or zoo and the guided tour therein. All in all, it was a very memorable and excellent experience to be among such friendly and outgoing folks who managed our tour. If one wishes to see Sydney, this is the way to do it, no bout adoubt it!

My husband and I scheduled a half-day tour of Sydney with Alanah, then asked her to arrange for the "Wild Australia Experience" at Taronga Zoo (incidentally, a wonderful guided tour) on the next day followed by dinner at Aria and a Sydney Symphony Orchestra concert at the Opera House. Every element was handled perfectly: times, tickets, directions, insider tips about how to "navigate" the Sydney harbour ferry system, and on and on. The only thing that Alanah couldn't arrange was a sunny day for the tour--in fact, it rained--but the tour itself was exactly what we hoped for: a highly informative and individually tailored introduction to Sydney and its suburbs that left us eager to explore further on our own. After using Alanah's company, I can't imagine choosing any other tour service in Sydney.

Spending the day with Alanah and having her introduce us to her city was one of my highlights of a two-week trip to Australia.
Yes, I suppose there are less expensive tour buses to pick you up and drop you off at the main tourist sites. But Alanah's knowledge of (and history with) the city makes her tour a much different (and personal) experience for visitors. For instance, she used to work at the Sydney Opera House, and for Qantas before that. She has great stories to tell (and personal history to draw from) that you won't get on a cookie-cutter tour bus.
Not only is she a remarkable guide, but it is a pleasure to spend a day with her. Having her show us around Sydney -- a city for which she obviously has a great deal of affection -- was a real treat. She is a fantastic (de facto) ambassador for Sydney (and Australia in general).
If you're searching for a full-day, fully-customized tour of Sydney, I'd highly recommend using Just Sydney Tours.

Alanah introduced 5 of us to Sydney in a wonderful, customized way. We were driven around downtown Sydney, along the coast, through charming neighborhoods, and to beautiful vistas for great photo opportunities.She suggested places to eat and visit during our ensuing 4 day stay. Although it was a bit pricey, her knowledge and helpfulness was much appreciated.

Sydney is an incredibly beautiful city, made even more special by our half-day tour with Alanah Willis, owner and tour guide par excellence, of Just Sydney Tours. It is obvious that Alanah loves her city,and so enjoys sharing it with her guests. Our tour was tailored for us perfectly, included as much as is possible in a single morning, and gave us a perfect view of Sydney and it's spectacular harbour. Our tour ended at Bondi Beach where we had a luncheon reservation. We had many more questions about our short stay in Sydney, and Alanah graciously emailed answers to all our requests, Opera house tours, ferry schedules, etc.

My husband and I disembarked after our cruise on the morning of October 23, 2013. We and our luggage were picked up at the port by Alanah in a very comfy Mercedes coach that was PLENTY roomy since it was only the two of us on this tour. Wow! She is so full of information and made our first day in Sydney terrific! We stopped at many of the local sites where she gave us the history of each. Bondi Beach was beautiful! We enjoyed lunch at a club where her husband (a Quantas pilot), was able to join us. My husband is a private pilot so they had stories to share. Never would have thought she'd find things to occupy 7 hours but she did and it was the best. She dropped us off at the end of one of the nicest days of our whole vacation. Thanks, Alanah!g
