Nice to see

Only a small aquarium but had a decent amount of things to see. The glass tunnel was a great experience that the kids loved.

Nice place, but on a busy school holiday it became impossible to hear the commentary and frustrating for the kids.

The Manly Sea Life Sanctuary is always a hit with kids and it is interesting for parents too. At $25 a ticket for adults and $17 for children, it is not a cheap option but there are some discounts for family groups and most aquariums around the world are just as pricey. The tickets last all day and allow you... More

We visited with the kids (5 & 2) and really enjoyed it. The lower underwater level was the favourite for all, as was the penguins. A great way to spend a couple of hours.

On the spur of the moment, ms 4, mr 6 and i decided to go to the Manly Aquarium. It was not too pricey, staff were pleasant and helpful and the exhibits very manageable. We had a lovely morning.

There is a lot to see here with the walk through tunnel where the sharks, turtles, stingrays and fish are all swimming around you what a sight definitely something to see

Great trip my wife and niece loved it, it's well worth the walk it's close to the Corso and we spent quite some time there. Happy to see this place is still there. I can say it's well worth the trip. Enjoy it!!!

We went with our teenage grandson and it was quite difficult to keep his attention for more than half an hour. Which was a pity because there was quite a lot to see and to read the information provided. Unsurprisingly, much of the descriptions relate to conservation and preservation of endangered species. The aquarium is on three floors. The top... More

Visited over the Xmas holidays in 2017!with family and small baby. Very crowded and queues before it even opened. The place was ridiculously hot inside and very uncomfortable. The staff were polite and the guy at rock pool great with kids. Not pram friendly. Animals were ok. Overpriced for what it is.

Neighbourhood Profile
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
