Compared to other Merlin’s Sea Lifes the one in Manly is pretty small. Not a suprise it will closed in next week since it would require major changes to be more interesting.

Visited the aquarium for the first time since I was at school because my sister and I heard it is closing at the end of january! Fantastic enclosures, educational talks, and even the touch pool. Great time with the kids, the only downside is all...More

We took our two grandchildren to the Manly aquarium and although they'd been before they still enjoyed it. Personally us older folk found it lacking in many ways. There's a sort of petting pool but the only things in it to touch are shells and...More

Great fun to walk beneath sharks and sting rays, watch the octopus and admire the elegant seahorses. However, this place is just tired and read for renos (it closes for that purpose end Jan 2018). Disabled access very poor (no lifts, lots of stairs, cramped,...More

I was only here for the shark dive which was amazing 5* however the sea life sanctuary is small and I felt the creatures kept there could have done with a little extra room. interactive for children and educational

The aquarium is small, but the advantage of that is that the children managed to stay interested for pretty much the entire visit. Feeding times with keeper talks were great. We had a lovely time here.

This is an old and tired Aquarium with only a small number of displays - The Darling Harbour part is far better and if you want to see the attraction done properly go to the original at Kelly Tarltons in Auckland, NZ.

Kids really enjoyed it. Had 5 children under 15 and 4 of us at adult prices. $175 a bit steep for 1hr or so.

Kids enjoyed the touch pool and looking at all the fish. They were also impressed with the mermaid statue and the cute little penguins. Nice little sea life sanctuary but was pretty ordinary. Wouldn't return, once was enough.

I came to Manly Sea Life Sanctuary recently with my family and it was good. There was lots of fish and it was pretty and interactive.

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

The trip on the old ferry to Manly is worth it and gives you great views of the harbour but the aquarium at Darling Harbour would be better, Manly is rather old.
