I liked the laid back family orientated vibe at Shelley beach. The coffee shops, cafe and a gift shop along the walk were lovely.

One of the nicest beaches away from the hustle bustle of Sydney. Worth seeking out this gem. One of those places still pristine and pleasant for a day trip. Take your camera and respect this unspoiled gem.

Really, really enjoyed this beach. Very family friendly especially with the way the water hits the shore (which is to say, there's very little waves), it's perfect for the little ones. The sand itself was "ok" in the sense that it wasn't the finest, perfect...More

Popular beach with a restaurant and facilities nearby. Good for snorkeling or Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUPing). Calm waters great for kids. The only problem is that there is not a lot of shade and the shade that there is is not close to the water....More

This extremely popular beach in the Manly area and Shelly Beach is apparently the only beach in Sydney that faces west. Generally a calm beach as it is rather protected by the open ocean waters it great for all ages. This cove or inlet edges...More
