I did a Manly snorkel tour with a local guide and had the best time. The EcoTreasures team are really top notch - they took such great care of everyone on the tour, really clear instructions and attentiveness to the right gear fit and in-water safety. I had little knowledge of snorkelling and was a bit nervous to begin with but by the end of the tour had gained enough confidence to be super keen to do another tour.
I loved the care this team showed toward the watery worlds we were snorkelling through and appreciated their knowledge of local conservation efforts to re-grow the cray weed and restore the marine reserve.
100% recommend doing a snorkelling tour with these folk!

I'm a keen member of the sunrise SUP club out on the beautiful Pittwater. There is honestly no better way to start the day, watching the sun rise out on the water, while also getting a great workout, is pure magic! Damien is extremely knowledgeable of the local area, wildlife, environment, and everything SUP related. He's a very generous instructor, passing on technics and skills to every week to hold us improve our practise. Always great fun with a great group of people. Highly recommended!

I’ve been a regular member of EcoTreasure’s sunrise SUP group on Pittwater since the start of the year (lockdown excluded ☹️). Start time depends on the sunrise! On arrival there are a range of different boards laid out and we set off for an hour. All abilities are catered for. Damien moves around the group and gives guidance for different weather conditions and tips to improve technique. He has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding landscape and wildlife we often come across. The group is fun, social and welcoming. An awesome way to start the day.

We went on the 2.5hr Manly Snorkel tour. What an incredible experience seeing all the different fish as well as jellyfish and even a surprise visit from a school of some very small squid. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and good at conveying safety information and interesting facts too. She took care of everyone in our group and make sure we were all comfortable the entire time, making adjustments for people who weren’t feeling confident in an area. The tour went at a leisurely pace to accommodate first time snorkelers and to allow time to watch the animals for a bit.
I would highly recommend this tour to anybody whether you’ve been snorkelling before and especially if you haven’t.

We had a great snorkel with your tour guide, Jeremy!
The nature walk gave us a good overview of Manly Beach, and Jeremy explained the history behind the nature protection there.
The snorkel itself was amazing! We saw a green sea turtle, an octopus and other cool sea animals. Jeremy was great at explaining where we were and what we saw, and he took some cool pictures - which were included!
All in all, it was a great experience and we felt safe snorkeling with Jermey.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Ecotreasures. I booked the private 90 minute paddleboarding and snorkelling tour through Shelly Beach. However, due to poor weather we could not snorkel and ended up doing a 90 minute paddleboarding tour. I had such a great time and it was a great tour. Damien was so knowledgeable about the area and provided lots of information. He also helped me on improving my skills as I'm new to paddleboarding. I highly recommend Ecotreasures.

Damien set up our camp site at the basic for a 3-night stay. His gear is top-notch and he went above and beyond to make our holiday comfortable and enjoyable. It was Christmas and he even led us to the little business that brought fresh prawns to the "door".
A great bloke who really knows his stuff. Absolutely reliable, thorough and diligent. We couldn't have asked for more.
It wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny. We will definitely be re-booking.

Such an amazing small business! We went on a gorgeous hike. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! There was an unexpected weather change but our guide clearly knew the area well and was able to adjust our plans so we could still have an enjoyable experience.

Thank you. Our guests make the trips work well, your crew had the perfect attitude to the all day rain. Everyone was happy and no complaining about the rain and just happy to be in the national park. That day was very wet which makes the waterfalls even better. As a nature lover I love the rain. Hat's off to our mates at YHA Blue mountains letting us have lunch inside. They are very nice and a great place to stay. thank you for the review and feedback. Damien

I booked camping for 2nights for a family of 8.
Damien was very thorough with the booking. I had not realised that even though we had changed the dates, my booking was still showing the wrong dates. Damien called on the day we were to arrive to confirm and he easily accommodated our change at the last minute!
The camping set up that he put up was very well done and very clean. It looked really comfortable and everyone was very impressed and delighted.
We had 5 teenage girls and they fit into the one tent with plenty of room to spare. The other 3 adults had a tent to themselves with even more room to spare. The tents were put up under plenty of shade that even in the afternoons, the tents were not hot.
The basin itself is an amazing place. Plenty of room for everyone and plenty of activities to occupy the young and old.

Dan’s sunrise stand up paddle boarding session was amazing. I’ve paddle boarded before but he showed me some super helpful tips. And the sunrise was stunning. Highly recommend starting the day with Dan on the water SUP-ing.

I don’t have a smartphone or printer, if I pay online and go to the meeting spot is that ok or do I have to have a ticket or mobile pass?just trying to leave cell phone at home.

Up to you but a phone can help when you need help. The map is very clear so if you are ok with reading maps and following directions you will be fine. It’s your choice. Let me know if you need anymore assistance?
Meet at car park exit at Shelly beach. Car park is at the end of bower st near Shelly beach. There is a manly scenic walkway sign at disabled parking spot at meeting spot. It is near cliff looking at the water

Hi, yes she can come on walking let of tour for first 30mins $30 or just relaxed at cafe or beach on her own while your on the tour.
Go to circular quay from Bondi then catch ferry to manly. Then walk to Shelly beach. It’s a nice journey

We will be visiting Sydney & Melbourne from Southern California Oct 4. We are a family of 3 and can snorkel. Will the water be warm enough to swim or snorkel. Does anyone offer shark cage diving? Please let me know ASAP so I can book.

Hi, yes water is fine all year if you have the right type of wetsuit. We provide suit and all the gear. Our manly snorkel tour is your best option. We have 2hr or 4hr option listed on our website. There are seals in Sydney but you don’t see them when you snorkel. Best spot for seals is narooma which is 6hrs sth of Sydney. Only cage diving is in port Lincoln sth Australia.
We do have port Jackson and wobbygong sharks you can see when you snorkel along with range of other spices. Most famous is the big blue groper of Sydney.
You can book on our website and you will get automatic email with meeting detail.

Hi, Thank you for the inquiry. Yes May is a nice time to snorkel. Water is still warm and wetsuits are provided. We have a few sessions at the start of the May and then we are booked up from 9th May until mid june. We have an extended trip with a group booking for most of the month and will be back Mid june.
Available dates are listed on the calandar?
Sorry no SUP and snorkel together in Manly. You can hire SUP's in Manly after our tour near the Wharf or on Manly beach

Hi, Sorry there is no kayaking allowed at night. You can only kayak in day light hours with our kayaks. It is not very safe on the water way at night in a small vessel.
