Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Huge outlet Mall in Sydney with mostly all major brands both Luxury & reasonable brands with a good court.
.
Since it's widely spread wearing comfortable shoes it's advised.
.
There is a play area for kids, but won't advise taking small kids as they can get bored.
.
Some of the brand stores we visited did not have sizes for the stuff we liked so was disappoing.
.
Mostly all clothing stores have XL as big size.

I always thought it was going to be too far to travel from Sydney CBD to DFO Homebush but it was quite easy via public transport.

From Central Station, I caught the train to Strathfield Station (about 15 minutes) and caught bus 526 from stand B. As someone who’s not familiar with the bus route, I always get nervous I’d miss my stop. If you sit on the left side of the bus, you might be able to see the 6 blue bus stop signs that the bus passes. Chances are though there will be plenty of passengers getting off at DFO Homebush (less than 10-minute ride from Strathfield Station).

I ended up spending just over an hour at DFO because a lot of the stores aren’t my types of stores. There were a lot of luxury brands as well, which I just passed. I did end up buying items from Fossil though cos they had styles they didn’t have at the DFO Brisbane store.

The 526 bus back to Strathfield Station is on the opposite side of the road. Walk back to where the bus stopped for DFO then cross the traffic lights to the bus stop. As bus 526 heads to Burwood Station, I decided to stay on and went to Burwood Shopping Centre to do some more window shopping.

=TIPS=
• Bus 526 or 525 at stand B -> DFO Homebush
• Bus 526 at stand D -> Burwood Station

I just don't get it. It's not cheap and 95% of the time you can way better online. Most prices are pretty standard retail. It's crowded, tacky and ugly. I've been twice - never again.

Nice place but the problem is it is too far from the Center of the city. You need to lunge the train to reach the area. But worth visiting it.

Good bargains at some stores depending on your interests. Overall much better than Birkenhead point outlet at Roseby st in terms of size of outlet and variety.

Huge place with a good variety of stores. Plenty of parking and the first 2 (maybe 3) hours free. It would be good to get free parking after spending a certain amount.

This place has delicned over time. Once it was great for bargins now you really have to search the rack to find true discounts.

Most of the items where regularly priced then one or two rack of out of season/old stock that was outlet priced.

Parking was OK, Food normal shopping centre fair.

Overall no value adn I would not put it on the the 'to do list'

I did actually find the two particular products that I had trouble finding at non-branded outlets, even though the stores at DFO were no bigger. The problem is that they cost more than at the resellers. If I didn't really need to test these things out before purchase, there's just no point shopping in person.

Just spent an hour here and found it full retail in most stores. No bargains to be had so not really a direct factory outlet just a con to make you think it is. Most stores boasted 70%off WRONG all the outlets websites were cheaper. So of you want to go for placebo shopping come here or just go to a Westfield and Pay the same price without the fake 70%off on the window

This place has changed immensely since visiting this place last.
We had high expectations of actually shopping here, but there wasn’t much from a normal shopping centre.
We won’t be back! Waste of time.
