The beach is nice with place for every ages, but I saw more teenagers. They have Rockpool and this kind of bridges setup where the swimmers jump and dive. The parks of the beach is cool with picnic area. Shopping street is just around and you're going to see almost everything. Restaurant everywhere. The place is just a walking distance... More

We had a couple of german visitors to entertain and tried this as we live close by and it was a bit too wet and windy to go beaching.

We did the Friday lunch cruise. Terrific value at $55. including welcome drinks and tea/coffee. Comfortable boat, good food, very hospitable crew and good commentary over the P A. Plenty of seating on the open upper deck for viewing when not eating. Highly recommended.

Train to Cronulla then short walk to Cronulla Wharf to catch a ferry to Bundeena. Great spot. Few shops but a couple of food places. Nice lunch at Passionfruit Cafe. Reasonably priced. Quiet beach, with small waves. Great for the kids. Bundeena is one of Sydney's hidden treasures.

For those without a car, this is the best way to access the remote beaches around Bundeena and the Royal National Park beyond. The ferry terminal at Cronulla Wharf is short, well-signposted walk from Cronulla train station. Forget the trademark ferries of Sydney Harbour - the two boats that serve this 20-minute route are quaint single-level barges that chug along... More

Caught this old wooden ferry across the inlet to Bundeena just to have a look at this region. The ferry crosses back and forth (returning on the hour) and is quite full on the weekends. It's a beautiful part of the world down here. Catch the ferry a few minutes walk down from the train station . Cost is about... More

My husband and I took the three hour ferry cruise yesterday. The commentary was excellent, staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Morning tea was available for the complete trip which some passengers made use of! Cold water was appreciated being such a hot day. Commentary was loud enough to be heard which was great as one lady did not stop... More

My wife and I took our daughter and her partner, who were visiting from London, on a day trip to Bundeena on the ferry. The fery trip is a step back in time when life was less frantic. The ride is very relaxing and the sightseeing is enjoyable. The ferry staff are very friendly. We spent the day on the... More

We took the 3 hour cruise along the Hacking River to Audley yesterday and loved it. Very casual, scenic and relaxing. The commentary was interesting and fun, but not intrusive. You could help yourself to complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits whenever you felt like it. They also had a bar selling beer/wine/softdrinks for a reasonable price, and there are toilets onboard. We bought... More
