Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a fantastic afternoon on the boat with a great crew. We saw dolphins as we went out and then a mother and baby whale. Would recommend without hesitation

Had a fantastic day out on the water with Cronulla Whale Watching. The boat is clean and comfortable with friendly and knowledgeable crew. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend!

We did the morning whale-watching a couple of days ago. We encountered 2 pods of whales and the boat was really close to the second pod of 5 humpbacks.
We also had dolphins swimming with the boat, thousands of seabirds and even a school of salmon.
The crew were very friendly and helpful.and the boat was not crowded, which was a bonus. My sister got some really good "whale tail" photos.
A most pleasant way to spend a morning!

Cronulla Whale Watching provided us with a wonderful experience sighting several Humpback Whales off Port Hacking Heads at Cronulla. The weather was a bit rough and windy, but the cruise captain skilfully managed to manoeuvre on a course that minimised the amount of water spray for those of us sitting at the bow of the boat. My young adult children and us parents all had a marvellous time riding the waves and spotting whales.

The Whale Watching Tour was just phenomenal! We saw many whales, as well as dolphins, seals and a baby hammerhead shark. One of the whales even did a full breach out of the water! Over the whole tour, barely 5-10 minutes went by where we didn’t see anything (other than the beautiful views of the ocean and national parks on the shoreline). The staff (which included a marine biologist) were very friendly and knowledgeable, and knew exactly where to go so we could see the whales without impeding their natural behaviour. It was a fabulous experience.

Crew are fantastic, friendly and helpful. Skipper went out of his way to make sure my little disabled boy and I were able to see the whales by angling the boat and the atmosphere onboard was a delight.
