We visited on Sunday 8th July, one of the few weekends they're open, and fortunately they've not been affected any trackside fires that currently plague their 'big brothers' on narrow gauge railways in Wales. The valley is surrounded by stunning hills, and the car journey...More

We visited and after spending nearly a whole day there, I can highly recommend it! My daughter loved the trains and we literally seemed to go on them all day. Wonderful cake and tea and we could even take the dog!

This is great little railway, go on it several times a year the grand children love it. The only small prob is that the ladies in the cafe are so slow be prepared to wait

An enjoyable trip. Only down side was we started at the wrong end. It would be better to start at Llanfair, as there not much in there to see in the village. Going the other way would given a chance to explore Welshpool a bit.

Hi. I think you have posted this in the wrong place. This review relates to the Welshpool and Llanfair railway not the Rhiw Valley Light Railway. All the best. Mike
