There is a really extensive churchyard with Thomas's grave well signed. This is marked by a simple wooden cross, much more restrained than many of the graves here. The church was closed when we visited, but looks interesting from the outside. It is on the...More

Where Dylan Thomas is buried. Easy walking with steps and free parking just a few blocks from downtown cafes. Open and friendly.

Just a wooden cross. No frills. No bells. No whistles. A hugely profound memorial to one of the worlds greatest writers. Well worth the walk to the church and the subsequent small climb up to the grave.

Dylan Thomas wasn't about material things, he was a poet, a moving spirit. He was destined not to live too long, but what he left us was wonderful. Pay your last respects, but don't mourn, enjoy, celebrate his wonderful work.
