Ramsey Island RSPB Nature Reserve, ferry boat daily. Whale and dolphin watching trips, see Grassholm Island Gannet colony, Puffins around Skomer Island, jet boat trips and leisurely cruises around the islands with a wildlife guide onboard. See our Atlantic Grey Seals, hundreds of seabirds, whales and dolphins, pass below some of the highest cliffs in Wales, witness the turbulent white water in Ramsey Sound where our resident Harbour Porpoise feed, visit the sea caves, bays around the island.

The only reason this review gets 2 stars is because the actual boat trip was good and the tour guide was brilliant. The rest of the staff at the poking office and meet and greet at the dock are rude and miserable. They charge £12...More

We were told to wear our warmest clothes and off we went, there were 8 of us in our boat, our guide was so informative and enthusiastic about every bird we saw, the thrill of seeing our first puffin and then to be amongst hundreds...More

It was so much more than a trip around the Island. The helm and guide were so wonderfully enthusiastic it transformed a simple boat trip. Plus their instructions we so clear and helpful. One and a half hours of adventure. Sometimes nipping through a narrow...More

We went to Ramsey and Skomer, both trips were great and did exactly what it said on the tin. Would definitely use them again

Loved the boat trip - it was the larger boat not the RIB, so felt safe, fine for using camera without sea-splashes and not so cold!! The speech given by the guide was excellent - really interesting about the history, geology and wildlife. Saw loads...More

Hi, we glad you enjoyed your boat trip. Yes the history and geology of the island is just as interesting as the wildlife.

Need to take this boat trip to get to island. Friendly staff on small boat. Other trips on offer too eg around the island and further afield. £18 to island if landing. £12 if member of RSPB.

Hello, I am looking to photograph wildlife, specifically Puffins. Do you have a tour that would work for this??

Hi, We have three options for photographing Puffins from the boat trips. (a) 2 hour Skomer Puffin trip, all the wildlife between Ramsey and Skomer Island, seabirds, seals, porpoise and sit in the bay at Skomer with the... More

Hi We are visiting between Christmas and New Year and wondered if trips are running on any days? We realise that this would be weather dependent but are really keen to join any trips that do run. Caroline

I would like to know a little bit about the rocks Ramsey Island is made of, also what kind of rocks are around the landing place at St. David's where the boats start from?

Response from Cindy P | Property representative |
