We've been to the Magic Lantern many times over the years, but this year was special. We bought tickets for 'Hidden Figures' and were about to settle down with a couple of bottles of beer. Our only concern was that Barney the dog was in our car outside. The man in the ticket office very kindly allowed Barney to come... More

Absolutely delighted to find this cinema on our short trip to the area. Really enjoyed The Eagle Huntress which felt like a much more intimate experience with just a scattering of others on a rainy, Sunday night. Would've like to have taken advantage of the bar but dashed in with only minutes to spare after a meal at a nearby... More

Went to see the fantastic "Lion" at this wonderful cinema. Real character, a bar, old school seating and a real feeling if being run by film and cinema lovers. Worth the trip from Dolgellau.

What an amazing place to go and watch a film! It's like sitting in someone's front room. The screen is fantastic and the sound is better than any other cinemas we've visited! Such good value too. A 3D film for a family of 4 was £20. A must visit!

Called in to watch the latest Jason Bourne film. I love this place, it's old but very personal and welcoming with friendly polite staff . The picture quality and sound system are second to none .

Went to see the BFG at this quaint old fashioned cinema, it really added to the atmosphere of the film, they show 3 films a day, 2 for children and one for adults in the evening.

Small cinema, cash only but the latest films in 3D and with great sound. Fantastic value for money compared to big chain cinemas. I'm only giving you a very good as there was no popcorn available today and had to placate the kids with Skittles!

A wonderful auditorium with murals, a stage and a selection of films to appeal to all tastes. I went to see Richard 3rd streamed live from London's theatre. I love the murals and the old fashioned seating. It has a balcony and you can choose where to sit. There is a reception area which hosts local talent concerts and it... More

It's hidden away from most cinema lovers, but the cinema here is amazing - a proper boutique experience to augment a lovely screen and fantastic atmosphere. It's a division away from your average dreary multiplex experience.
