Enjoyed a few hours here. Visited a few years ago when there was more going on with spiders and snakes to handle/touch. Not many staff around but friendly enough when I asked questions. Unfortunately the nature trail was closed due to high winds ??!!) Butterfly house is good and the goats, pigs and donkeys. All animals look healthy and well... More

Enjoyed our visit. Spent four hours there, including having lunch in cafe which was lovely. Butterfly house was really nice. Not a huge venue but interesting never the less. We spent quite a while in the bird watching hide. The animals were all clean and well looked after. There were plenty of hand washing facilities for use after petting the... More

This is a well kept venue with lots of different creatures to see. The highlight was the butterfly house and the baby goats. Not all of it was accessible to my 7 month old but that's to be expected. I think it would be better for children 2+, although my daughter loved stroking the baby goats. Lovely outdoor area as... More

Whilst on holiday in North Wales, we took the kids to the butterfly farm and it was well worth the visit! The butterfly's are so beautiful and you can see all the stages of their lives, there are other replies and animals there as well, so the children have plenty to see, there's also outdoor and indoor play areas including... This is well worth a visit despite the £8 entrance cost (per adult) and the decidedly unfriendly, indolent, and indifferent shop staff who are more interested in chatting among themselves and fiddling with their mobile telephones, than assisting customers. Like many places nowadays, its obvious that these people have been given the barest minimum of customer service training and I... More

We have just had a fabulous day out here today. Our girls are 5 & 7 and therefore a perfect age for this attraction. However, we saw children from 0-12 having a lot of fun. The weather was fairly good with the odd shower and so we were able to enjoy all the outside play areas (varied and kept our... More

This place is fantastic for all ages and there is plenty to see and do. Both my 3 year old and 9 year old were entertained and if I had to find fault with anything it would be the height restrictions on a few things as my eldest son just had to sit and watch. I can understand why they... More

We last came here a few years ago on our last visit to Wales and was at the top of our list to do this time around. Our two girls who were too young to remember it last time absolutely loved it, especially the adventure playground and bouncy castle but they also spent a while looking at all the different... More

My twin girls were bored one Sunday so popped in the car 20 minutes later they were entertained. They loved the bird enclosure the most, but enjoyed visiting all the other reptiles and animals. Nice to see they have added new stuff since we last visited two years ago. We visited the cafe for lunch and they were really accommodating... More

I remember visiting Pili Palas as a child and loving every minute of it, so naturally I wanted to bring my daughter here to enjoy the same experience. It was a hit :) Getting to Pili Palas when you don't drive is difficult, but not impossible which they clearly state both on the website and their brochure. Still, we ventured... More
