Family half term holiday, recommended in the "things to do" folder left by the holiday cottage owners. Thought worth a visit on a Sunday, quick look around then tea and cake. Nope, it was closed. No signs from the main road, so after negotiating the...More

Awful. Old couple running the place are so unfriendly, brusque and rude. Scones dry, jam runny, tea stewed. Don't bother. Room smells.

Not a jam factory. It is a jam shop with a tea room in their front room. The jam might be ok, we bought a jar, it is expensive but sounds delicious. The cafe is the problem. £2.40 for the coffee. It was a scoop...More
