We visited Beaumaris on 30th November on a cold day and took a look at the waterfront after we had tea at the hotel opposite, The Bulkel Arms. The waterfront looks opposite the Menai Straits to the mainland and provides a tourist attraction. We enjoyed our visit and recommend anyone to see it

Get your crab nets and your squid bait and have a great hour or two with your children crab fishing. Its great fun & for any adult & child. Brings the children out of us all. The pier is free. and on a nice sunny day gives a great place to sit and watch the world pass by

By comparison with the nearby Bangor pier this is small- but perfectly formed. Stunning views of Snowdonia and plenty of ozone! Really good shelter at end of pier which is both attractive and useful. Clearly a hit with local anglers.

A small pier with good views towards mainland Wales. Shelter at one end of the pier and a small shop at the other where amongst other things you can buy crabbing gear to use from the end of the pier. There were many people doing this and plenty of crabs being caught.

Visited as a family of 4 with two boys. Enjoyed watching the crabbing. I don't think I have seen so many. We had lots of fun collecting shells on the beach. In the summer there is a large shallow pool for children next to the lifeboat house which looks fab. We also took part on one of the boat cruises... More

Lovely views off this pier, car park very close by. Lifeboat station at the side of the pier. Lovely tidy pier not too long but fab. Beaumaris is a lovely little town too.

The location and views are really nice, so to stand with a coffee or something to eat for a while is some time well spent. If you are thinking of 'crabbing' - this is a different matter. There are dozens of people all doing the same and from what we observed, I don't think we saw a single crab make... More

Lovely to sit at the end of the pier watching the boats and people come and go. We made a habit of picnic on the pier, the Central Bakery or fish and chips being the main staple of the day. Lovely, rain or shine..

On the day that we visited the lifeboat was launching, luckily not for an incident at sea. It was very interesting to watch. The pier has beautiful views of the mainland and is a super place to sit and watch the world go by.
