Its a Pier, handy for going on a boat trip or trying to catch crabs but that is about it. Can be very exposed if the weather is against you.

This is a lovely little pier, right in town. There are loads of families fishing for crabs and they do catch some large ones. On hot days there is a children’s “splash pool” that is very popular.

A very simple and short pier, set against a breathtaking backdrop of mountains. There is nothing on the pier so don't expect shops and rides. It's not long either. But, it's quaint. Lots of children crabbing on it, and a few stalls offering various boat...More

Lovely pier, beautiful views. We absolutely love to go crabbing there, the most we have ever caught is around 30. Beside it is a beautiful park and a lovely sandy beach. Every bonfire night they have a massive bonfire on the beach and then fireworks...More

As one of the previous answers mentioned, I think Bangor Pier would be a better option. There is so much crabbing going on that maybe fish would be frightened off.
