The centre is in a modern building on the quayside at Amlwch and built in an old copper storage hopper. The displays cover the development of Amlwch as a port for exporting copper from Parys Mountain. The main part of the display covers the Victorian...More

A small but unusual museum, makes a pleasant day out together with the nearby maritime museum and cafe overlooking the lovely old harbour.

A really interesting place, which clearly and imaginatively explained the rise and fall of the copper mining industry on Anglesey. It had an interactive element which add3ed to the interest. It was situated just outside of Amlwch on the edge of the Anglesey Country Walk....More

Part of the copper mining experience. Interesting area with explanatory notes. The cafe was pretty good too.

This is a very well laid out and organised museum. The facts are so interesting and we all found out such a lot about the area. Never knew mining copper could be so amazing. Clean, with a great cafe. Recommend a trip here.
