You can certainly see why the gentlemen built their picnic round house here. The views are really wonderful right over Monmouth and the surrounding countryside. The lane up is steep and narrow so take care. there are passing places but you need to be careful....More

Great place to walk, or for less able you can drive up the Kymin. The views are tremendous, on a clear day you can see for miles, over the top of Monmouth town and the river Wye.

I had read about this prior to our stay in the area and was particularly keen to see it because of the Lord Nelson connection. Be sure to check the website for the days when it is open. Small but very interesting.
