We really enjoyed our trip to the zoo. Every corner we turned there was a different animal to see. The zoo was well kept and all the staff were very friendly.

Before visiting I read a lot of negative reviews and was a little worried when visiting the zoo as we had pre-booked tickets. However we arrived with an open mind and quickly wondered what the fuss was about. This zoo is decent in size and...More

We had a lovely day out here with the family. The snow leopards were amazing and the keeper gave a very knowledgeable talk about the chimps.

Visited with my grand niece who is 8, the animals are well cared for and we really enjoyed the chimps, seals, white leopard and Lemur walk. The chimp talk was good but video a waste of time, hard to see and hear. You would be...More

First visited this zoo 5 years ago and it has changed a lot since then. Doesn’t seem to be as many animals. The signs that direct you were hard to understand. Staff were friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed the 5 hours we spent at the Zoo today. Yes it has steep paths, but the name is a clue. The animals look healthy and attention was paid to enhancing their day. We ate in the Safari Restaurant which was spotless. Sandwiches...More

As I had another child with me who wanted to go and see everything, I found it difficult in some places. Helped by other visitors, but it seemed like a lot if steps to me. I wasn't aware of a wheelchair friendly route.

I cannot answer that honestly but the zoo is well organised so I would be very surprised if they don’t have some kind of storage system. I would ring them direct especially if you need any refrigeration.
