Visited with grandchildren and daughter in law, their first zoo visit, and was very disappointed. The animals very sad and not looked after. The chimps looked as if they have mange. Lots of the enclosures are overgrown. We had to return food in the cafe...More

Not the best zoo I've been too this year, mainly due to some design flaws with animal location, however nice spacious exhibits, a good gift shop and happy animals makes this a must see in the north of Wales. Highlights include the otters, tigers and...More

Decided to try the Welsh Mountain Zoo as we gave never been before. Not the biggest Zoo, but lots to see particularly the snow leopards! Tidy grounds and well laid out. Some areas were cordoned off as there are plans to upgrade some enclosures.

I cannot answer that honestly but the zoo is well organised so I would be very surprised if they don’t have some kind of storage system. I would ring them direct especially if you need any refrigeration.
