Rolling grass slopes around the boating lake. What’s not to like. I’ve always found it to be reasonably litter free.

This used to be splendid, now it is rundown. The only things left are the bowling green and the lake, nothing for the children to do once they have had a run round.

Definitely worth a visit, as the recent upgrades have really made this a spectacular place to walk around. Try and catch an event in the stadium if you can... I really would love to see a live music event next summer.

No boats on the boating lake, pitch & putt has gone, generally run down..and no public toilets as far as I could see. Play area for toddlers (our grandchild) was well appointed though.
