Myddfai Community Hall & Visitor Centre is a lottery funded state of the art Centre, built in 2011, set in the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. It has huge hall, ideal for conferences, parties and Weddings as it now also has a Civil Ceremony Licence. There is a lovely café and gift shop at the Centre, both open 6 days a week (closed Mondays- but open Bank Holiday Mondays) There are several interpretation boards covering the History and Heritage of Myddfai village- covering the Physicians of Myddfai and the legend of 'The Lady of the Lake'. There are many lovely walks in the area and the beautiful St Michael's Church is just next door and definitely worth a visit.

Sitting outside on a sunny summer day.Two red kites wheeling and swooping out of a cloudless sky.newly arrived swallows in course of their eccentric flight. On the table in front of me z home made scone with clotted cream and raspberry jam together with a nice strong coffee. Bees buzzing from flower to flower..Have I gone to heaven? No,this is... More

A wonderful, light space to hold an event in. The main room was ideal. Lesley was really accommodating, with teas and coffees ready on arrival. The buffet lunch in the cafe area was delicious; everyone enjoyed it. I'll be sure to book again if I have an event in the local area.

Brilliant...! Wonderful people! Good service in the cafeteria... nothing was any trouble to these community workers....! Extremely interesting project in progress in the main hall.... plenty of ladies of the community working hard under professional supervision to produce a leaded stained glass window for the hall.... Brilliant Stuff...! The wee village is pretty interesting as well and the whole experience... More

This little place is in the middle of nowhere and is surrounded by a lot of history. The cafe is small and friendly and reasonably priced. If you are into herbs then this is for you

This is a real find, a quirky peaceful place with excellent coffee and cakes. The scones are out of this world and showcase what Wales has to offer. The staff are so friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Enjoyed browsing in the shop which had a wide array of unusual gifts and books. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful venue for a wedding. Everything was perfect including the weather which allowed us to use the outside areas as well. Stunning backdrop for some of the photos. Staff and everyone concerned worked very hard to make it a memorable day for the very happy bride and groom.
