Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A favorite clothier of the stars including Elvis. Lots of Elvis custom Elvis recreated items as well as autographed guitars from many artist. If your going to purchase expect higher prices but you get what you pay for!! This is located in the Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis!!

I was thrilled to meet Mr. Hal Lansky and Julie; at Lansky at the Peabody. The stores are beautiful and they treated me like a rock star. If you are in Memphis, you should definitely go to Lansky. Get yourself some jazzy clothes and copies of both books, "Lansky Brothers Clothiers to the King" and "Come on in Young Man."
Visiting Lansky was the Cherry on top of a fabulous trip to the home of the king.

Julie Lanski was working at the shop both times I visited. She assisted me in choosing shoes for my difficult feet. She was gracious and shared some of the history of their business. Delightful shopping experience.

The sales staff was super! I was giggling like a little school girl ooohing and ahhhing over this or that. As long as I didn't use a flash they welcomed picture taking. The guitars on the wall added to the vibe and told the story well of who all had shopped there. They even pointed out the cologne that Elvis used to wear and gave me a little spritz. It is a fun place and it worth the time to walk through and imagine back in the day.

If you have any interest in rock & roll and/or men’s fashion, you have to go Lansky’s. Not only is the store filled with fantastic rock-inspired clothes (yes, they sell blue suede shoes), you’ll also see signed guitars and photos of so many music legends. And ask for Lucinda. She’s the best.

Wanted to see the windows that Elvis was peering into years ago. Well, we found them! The old location of Lansky's (which is now located in the beautiful Peabody Hotel). Items for sale in the new shop are lovely. Something to see when in Memphis.

We loved this shop. Robert Graham shirts and similar brands. Clothier to Elvis.

The shopkeepers were friendly and didn't mind that we were just browsing. They have a room with walls of guitars signed by famous musicians.

If you stop to see the ducks, stop at Lansky.

We visited the Peabody and shopped at Lanskys. The shops were very nice. Clothing was very much in style for Memphis. The gift shop had wonderful items from Radco Christmas Ornaments to wonderful Ducks made from 100 year old cedar fence post. I couldn’t resist not taking home a duck.

Earlier I purchased my blue suede shoes and a long sleeved Bob Dylan themed shirt. This time, I purchased a short sleeve shirt impressed with red lips. Fun, fun clothes

Lansky's at the Peabody hotel should be on the list of things to do in Memphis. The long-standing iconic store clothed the King of Rock and Roll... Elvis. Hal Lansky, son of the original Lansky was privy to helping dress The King. A celebrity in his own right, he has helped to dress many other famous singers who have stopped by this great place. A very nice gentleman and his staff are equally as friendly and helpful. There is a nice selection of top name clothing items and many special Elvis clothing items to celebrate Memphis and the King of Rock and Roll as well bragging right that you have been there.
