Just a small park on the edge of downtown with some old military artillery. Great view of the river!! Lots of shade, a good place to relax.

seems political correctness has hit Memphis and all Confederate parks have been renamed!! This is historical but some people do not seem to look at it this way

Nice to walk through the park on a sunny morning. Good views over the Mississippi River. Interesting plaques to read some history.

Typical small park, except for the view of the river from the bluff. There is a statue of Jefferson Davis, a couple of Civil War cannons and a couple of historical markers. There is an illustrated marker discussing the naval battle of Memphis and another on the history of the area.

Gives a good view of the Mississippi River and tells the History of the Battle of Memphis 1862 and it's capture by the Union and other famous residents of Memphis ! It would of been a great sight to watch the two fleets engage and the history boards give you a real feeling for the event ! Sadly others don't... More

This easily missed area is essentially a small grass patch with a few cannons facing the river hardly a park and hardly worth stopping for or noting...... additionally let's remember nobody really cares about Confederates in 2017 they were at the losing party! Fundamentally in America it's embarrassing to even have a park named Confederate Park!

This little park is located along North Front Street. It is a memorial to the Civil War. It was dedicated in 1908. The park provides a good perspective of an important battle that took place in Memphis. The focal point of the park is the statue of Jefferson Davis who lived in Memphis from 1875 to 1878. Actual Civil War... More

This is a pretty park on the waterway. It's easy to walk around and shows a different side of Memphis.

A small park looking over the river. The cannons are copies, and this park commemorates the civil war battle of memphis which lasted about half an hour, and was a naval battle fought on the river.
