I was not sure what to expect but heard it was worth a visit. It has a surprising array of different displays from the expected Elvis Presley info to surprisingly fun and informative displays on early settler life, an amazingly intricate model circus, as section on the scientific basis of evolution, and quite a bit of local history. They have... More

We have been members of the pinkpalace for over 12 years In those years more areas being roped off for weddings and parties. The employees have become more and more aloof and disconnected. They don't dust exhibits, they're really not treated well. otherwise if you just walk through it's very interesting and nice but like I said it's just seems to... More

Thank you for being a member. Look me up at the member preview party for our next exhibit, Jurassic Journeys. The animatronic dinosaurs are always fun. Jurassic Journeys opens May 27. We are a very popular venue for wedding and galas. We try to keep the impact of events to a minimum. I am sorry you were inconvenienced; please inform... More

Someone today that works for your company was ugly and rude to my child. I and my son deserve an apology. We will not be returning until so.

Kids had fun. From a history stand point one of the best small scale museums I have been too. Would love to go again!

First, a big thank you to Trip Advisor reviewers prior to me. I was able to buy a discounted Family Pass on Groupon. The family pass more than paid for itself and we received a buy-1-get-1-free sandwich from the cafe. I did this and would not recommend it. The service is slow and the Cafe is not charming - very... They have a good museum of history and animals. The actual palace is closed for the next several months for renovations. The planetarium and IMAX was good. Watched the Changes in Weather at IMAX, and Star Gazing at the planetarium. Cost for all was kind of high, given we did not get to tour the palace. About $75 for 3.... More

This gorgeous house faced with Georgian pink marble was built by the fellow who invented the idea of 'pick your own groceries' stores. It is now an interesting museum. A highlight for me was the three-wall panel mural painted by Burton Callicott, a well-known local artist, under the Works Progress Administration (WPA), the largest and most ambitious American New Deal... Happy accident.... I was trying to call to see if the mansion was open bases on a TA review. I could no get out of automatic attendant. However, the recording said free on Tuesdays after 1pm. Plenty of free parking in attached lot. We spent about 2- 2 1/2 hours. The mansion was built by the Piggly Wiggly owner, but... More

This is a great set of museums for kids and as a former Piggly Wiggly employee, I loved seeing the first Piggly Wiggly. However, it is disappointing the mansion is not open. Look for 2 for 1 coupons to enter.

Thank you for your recent visit. The Mansion is undergoing a multimillion dollar renovation; however, there are always exciting things happening at the Pink Palace Museum. We have over 50,000 square feet of permanent exhibit space with natural and cultural history topics ranging from dinosaurs to civil war and everywhere in between. Extreme Deep: Mission to the Abyss is in... More
