Tour begins with a brief introduction by a knowledgeable employee followed by a brief movie......informative and entertaining! We really enjoyed this place and the informative tour guide. They had some great exhibits and tons of album covers. Would definitely recommend!

Although the original building was demolished, this replica was done really well and the exhibits are fantastic. If you are a fan of Soul music this is a must.

We were please with our visit to Stax. It was easy to find and very well organized . The displays were well organized and gave us a complete history of the contribution of Stax to soul music !! Worthwhile!

For all the baby boomers brought up on rock n roll,this really is a don,t miss. The photo,s the stories and memorabilia are really worth seeing.Everything is very well presented with a juke box playing,and of course you can select songs from all the artists.

My husband is a huge blues/soul music fan and this was the highlight of our trip to Memphis.....well here and the BB King Museum on the way. Perhaps the website should warn you its located in a less than desirable neighborhood....well so the nice Policeman...More
