We booked through Backbeat as we did not see the typical Hop On - Hop Off that you find in most cities. Overall it proved to be a suitable alternative, visiting a few of the key sites around Memphis. We met outside of BB King's to catch the bus, a prominent and easy to find landmark. Our guide Larry proved... More

One of the Best Ghost Tours I have been on! Our tour guide was great, I think his name was John! Some of the people on our tour actually saw orbs on their phones. The stories were great! I highly recommend adding this tour to your Memphis must do list!

Okay.. so my boyfriend and I did the discovery, big mojo, and graceland tours & I have to say I was extremely impressed with all three. If you can, try to do all three! It's totally worth it! By far the best tours I have been on. Each tour guide was very knowledgable! One tour that stuck out was the... More

We booked this tour having researched it on trip advisor. We decided to take the Big Mojo Tour which takes in Sun Studios. The bus is very quirky, and a musician sits at the front and sings throughout the tour, which was very entertaining. They tell you about the origins of music detailing the rise to fame of such music... More

It's just easier hopping on a bus, getting dropped off, told where to go and getting a ride back. It's even better when the driver knows A LOT about Elvis. We had such a nice time talking to him about his love for Elvis and sharing little known stories. The bus left Memphis on time and we returned as scheduled.... More

Our tour guide, Nancy, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Memphis' music history. We elected to take the Sun Studio tour as well, and the guide there was also very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Other people not on our Mojo tour joined us for the Sun Studio tour--and it was very crowded. We are in our 60s and enjoyed it!

This tour was a good way to see & get a lot of information of Memphis in a short space of time. Larry our tour guide was very informative & knew his stuff. This was the 2nd time we had Larry as our guide & he was helpful beyond what he had to be. Thoroughly enjoyed the two Backbeat tours... More

This was a great tour with live music. They drive by all the important places and give you a great deal of information. Be sure to add the sun studio tour.

What a great idea, easily found on Beale Street, a bit difficult to miss the bus and having a fabulous local musician (Eric Hughes) providing not only the great tunes but the back stories to so many interesting locations and people around Memphis cannot be understated as to increasing the level of enjoyment this tour provides. The time flashed by... More

BackBeat Tours are terrific from the first greeting to the end. This is a great, stress free way to see Beautiful Memphis. Being in town for just 3 and a half days to explore, we wanted it all arranged before we left so we knew what we were doing each day, and to make sure we didn’t miss a thing... More
