Horrible & Unreliable
Apr. 2021 • Family
What a joke! They need to change their name to UNRELIABLE Tours. They NEVER picked us up, they NEVER sent a text or called. We called numerous times but we continued to get a message saying voice mail was full.....imagine that! Thankfully we went through Viator to book this and they immediately refunded our money. But you can't get paid back for the time we spent getting up early to be ready 30 minutes before pickup as instructed on invoice, then to sir and wait to over an hour! Even the front desk at our hotel told us that this company cannot be trusted. Look elsewhere for a Memphos tour, I'm sure any other would be better than this!

Fab tour but not long enough

Collected from the hotel. Lovely transport and very informative tour guide.
Tupelo was amazing but the tour felt rushed. An extra hour there would have made a huge difference to the day.
Definitely worth a visit.

Would never recommend this tour or this company.
Nov. 2019
This was such a disappointment because the company has excellent reviews, which convinced me it was worth paying so much more than the other Memphis tours advertised on TripAdvisor and through the city's tourism office.

But I can't recommend this tour or this transportation company to anyone: the driver arrived half an hour late, and only after we and the hotel called multiple times to see if he was still coming at all. The van was filthy, and we waited while the driver emptied trash from the vehicle in the parking lot of our hotel. The tour was mostly the sites in the description, but a large portion of the time was us just going through Sun Studio which you can do on your own for a lot less money. The worst part was the restaurant, which is a lovely place to eat, but where we were dumped there, and had to wait for a half-hour after their closing time for the driver to finally return and take us back to our hotel.

We were a group of four, but even if you are a solo traveler, for $82 per person, you can hire a private tour guide and have a much better experience, or for even less, you can just have a taxi take you between the sites of downtown Memphis.

I don't know how to reconcile our awful experience with the reviews on this website, but I would strongly discourage anyone from trusting the positive endorsements here. We spent $328 for a delayed, abbreviated, less-than-professional tour. I would be very cautious before booking any tours or travel through this company.

Humble beginnings of Elvis
Sep. 2019 • Friends
Visited Tupelo to see where it all began for Elvis. Seeing the shotgun house, the church and the cafe where Elvis had his favourite booth was nothing short of magical.
The next day a visit to Graceland showed how Elvis loved to shower himself and others with the best money could buy.
When you see how he lived in Tupelo with not much in a monetary sense but a loving family it helped in understanding the man.
Well worth the drive out there especially if you are lucky enough to sit in the “Elvis” booth.,

Excellent Tour and Guide!
Sep. 2019 • Friends
Darnell Johnson picked us up at our hotel with a warm personality and friendly welcome. Mr. Johnson was very knowledgeable about Elvis which made the tour extremely good. He was also very highly motivated and very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks!

We truly enjoyed visiting all of the Elvis sites and getting out of the vehicle to take pictures. The weather was perfect and it was a pleasure getting to learn more about Elvis. Driving by and stopping at the site to take pictures of where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was shot was also a treat. RIP MLK 😥

We stopped for lunch at the Arcade Restaurant where Mr. Johnson made a reservation for us to sit in the Elvis booth. Kudos to DJ! The food served here is your typical diner food, but the service was very slow. I finished my sweet tea and the server never came around to ask if I wanted a refill.

Without a doubt, Memphis is one of my favorite cities in Tennessee. All respect for Mr. Johnson who does a great job! A true example of an excellent tour guide!

Many thanks again and I recommend this tour to everyone!

Darnell Johnson, Tour Guide
My grandson & I flew into Memphis for Spring Break. I wanted to introduce my grandson to ELVIS! We did everything ELVIS but best of all was our Sightseeing Tour by Darnell Johnson! The personal effort he made for us was way beyond our anticipation of the tour. He helped ignite a fire inside our minds to learn everything we could! His tour was phenomenal and we are still talking about it. Thank you Darnell! God Bless You.

A trip from the guesthouse graceland
Jul. 2019 • Couples
This was a lovely time away from the hotel and visiting where Elvis grew up. Visiting the hardware store where his first guitar was bought. Then the statue where he reaches out to all his fans. Onto the first house his parents had.
Worth every cent!
