About
What began in 2012 as an Induction Ceremony and tribute honoring the many heroes of Memphis music is now a fun, new interactive museum experience that will be just as outrageous as our Hall of Fame inductees. Let us introduce you to such legendary inductees as Elvis, Jerry Lee, B.B. King, Isaac Hayes, Al Green, Howlin' Wolf, ZZ Top and many, many others through never-before-seen memorabilia, videos, music and interactives.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We bought the combination ticket with the Rock N' Soul..... so it may have been worth the $6 dollars we paid but would not have been wroth $8 if we paid the full price. This is small and lacking exhibits. The signage is small and placed in odd places near the floor which makes it difficult to read. This museum can be seen in less than 30 minutes. I can't recommend the time and money.

Museum was a single room. The museum never identified who exactly is in the Memphis music HOF so the displays are a bit disjointed. Info kiosks were mostly out of service. You’re done looking at the displays in about 30 minutes. Not worth the admission price.

We stayed down off Beale St. , but wanted to go to a store that didn't open up until 11:00 the next morning. Because of this we tried the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. Very cheap admission, but great things to look at. It's not a big place but very interesting. If you have an extra hour it is worth the stop.

There is nothing bad that you could say about this place - its amazing! As a child of the 50's and 60's, I was in music heaven and the fact that I'm a HUGE Elvis fan just doubled the pleasure. Wish I had the money to go back!

We went here after visiting the Rock & Soul Museum. This place is smaller but still has wonderful memorabilia, different than in the R&S Museum. I'm glad we stopped.

Roy Orbison's' sunglasses...are you kidding me?
Museum does a great job considering many exhibits are on loan and can change anytime. If I lived in Memphis, I would visit often since new items are likely to be on display and the price is so affordable.

This is a very small museum. Not what I expected. I was expecting many floors and detailed exhibits. It doesn’t have much information about each singer, but interesting.

If you are a 'beginner', interested to learn more about the history of music and its development in Memphis, this is not tje place for you. There are costumes of unknown artists, some attributes and some screens repeating videos. On maybe 200 square meters. Very dissappointing. No clear storyline at all. Even the charged 8usd feels very very expensive.

This is twinned with the Rock n Soul Museum (for tickets). It is centrally located, well appointed and in reasonably close proximity to other sights in the centre of Memphis. It is well laid out and flows easily. It is predominantly a collection of memorabilia of particular artists and lacks levels detail on those artists that other similar attractions provide.

I was expecting more, but was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The exhibits were nothing special. And Justin Timberlake has been inducted here?!?
