The day we went, we were told that they were closed due to water leak. It would have been very helpful if they had posted this information before we walked down the stairs.More

Amazing collection of Asian art. You could spend hours here. We regretted we didn't have more time to look around.

This museum was a total surprise on main street. Especially the Asian (mostly Chinese) part was exquisite. Saw some rare things here.

This is a strange conglomeration of artifacts (off the beaten path), which comes primarily from the Asian influence, offers a horrific display of ivory carvings, a modest collection of jade decorations, and a simple gathering of Judaica items including a small holocaust collection. The irony...More

JanetJulia, I might be experiencing a mild case of déjà vu, as I feel like I've already responded to this review, but anyway -- The ivory on display is woolly mammoth ivory, the last of which died out about 4,000 years ago, due mostly to...More

When I pulled into Memphis today I looked up museums on Tripadvisor and this museum popped up. I somehow survived the Memphis cross-town traffic and my GPS led me to the front door. I paid for an hour and a half of parking, which was...More

What a phenomenal little hidden gem in Nashville. Wow. Just. Wow. We found some slightly discounted tickets via Groupon and even received 5 dollars off each ticket for anything in the gift shop. I found myself a very nice little Buddha zen garden. Fun fact...More
