A great little gem in old Memphis. The bulk of the museum consists of Chinese art, mainly carvings of jade, ivory, tiger-eye, malachite, azurite and so on and the workmanship is simply amazing. A smaller section is devoted to Jewish artwork from Europe and a...More

Totally worth $6 per adult to walk around and take in some amazing works of art. Along with some history. I would not recommend small children that have problems not touching things.

This museum is definitely worth the six dollars I spent. You can wander around in there for ever and at times it's even Erie but I definitely enjoyed this one. Anyone into art or Asian or Judaic history would enjoy this museum a lot.

Our 15 year old daughter wanted to visit while on vacation in Memphis. We as a family really liked it. There is a lot of amazing art work from Jade to Ivory. She loves art and we spent a couple of hours here.
