Gunsgreen House is a visitor attraction in Eyemouth, Scottish Borders. The Smuggling museum and historical house are open to the public from 1st April-31st October Thurs-Mon 11am-5pm.

The museum display is very good and gives an interesting insight into the history of the area. Also friendly welcome at the entrance. Shame that upper part of house is now rented out and no longer available to the public.

The visit to the house lasted about 45 minutes. We had a lovely time exploring the basement which is quite tactile. The next floors up were also interesting and the children’s attention was kept with the rat game, the tea-coding, and what would the present...More

This is a great house with lots of secrets to discover. If you rush through you'll miss the interesting hidden stuff. You can't see it all as the top floors are holiday rents but it's still very good for the kids and adults. Fully recommend...More
