Dochart falls is at the start of killin, and is amazing to view. They are more Rapids rather than a water fall but very impressive to see. Further down the river is a viaduct which is the second oldest viaduct I believe in the U.K. Very nice scenery. Killin itself is very beautiful and worth a visit.

The falls are more a collection of white water runs. When the weather has been dry, the falls are still pretty, but don't be fooled into thinking that this is it. After rain the river rises; the water tumbles over and hides the rocks causing massive waves and areas of white water - along with the sound of such massive... More

I visit the falls at least once a year. Very spectacular after lots of rainfall. You can normally get pretty close to the falls/stream. It's more like a tiered waterfall as there is not a lot of height involved but it's stunning either way. Nice wee town with plenty of places to have something to eat or drink or have... More

Can not miss it if in Killin. Probably not worth to go there specially for it, but if You ar in Killin, it is not possible to miss it. You can have a perfect picnic on the rocks of the waterfall or just have a beer with a stunning view. Some problems with car parking around, so my offer is... More

This is a great spot and must be one of the best tourist attractions within a village boundary. Fantastic when the water is high or one a warm sunny day.

Good place to stop for a photo opportunity. The only problem was there was no footpath so beware when standing on the road to take photos.

I love the views and sound of rushing water over rocks, so this is the ideal place for me. You can get some great views from the bridge and if you want to carry on over the bridge and you can walk down to the falls and clamber over the rocks to get really close. Take care! It's very slippery... More
