Very quiet except for Friday night. A basic, clean pub, TV on in the corner every night except Friday.

Popped in for a light lunch .. the place is a bit dated and basic.. we both had toasties which were ok although my OH ordered pineapple on his and they came with whole rings on each .. lacked finesse but ok for a quick bite while passing through Crianlarich .

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Fort William. Just got a Toastie, and for a quick lunch on the road where there are limited options, it was fine.

We nipped in for lunch on the way through Crianlarich. I had good memories of the place from doing the West Highland Way a couple of years ago. I left disappointed today. I don't expect the world from a wee pub like this, but the steak pie was drowned in gloopy gravy and the chips were underdone. My girlfriends burger... More

Known in Scotland as a howff. Basic furnishings and decor but bar well stocked and food - very good pub grub and decent portions. The only Pub in town.

Visited with a group of friends mid January. The bar area was very bare and the whole room seemed to slant to one side and that was before we had anything to drink! The food was good but again the dining area was cold so we didn't feel inclined to linger after we had eaten. As there aren't many places... More

We had our Yule Banquet in the Rod and Reel as we were saying in the hostel at Crianlarich. Lesley at the pub gave us a great choice of menu and the food was brilliant and a very good price. The pub was set up lovely for us with fest tablecloths etc. The service was brilliant, our food was brought... More

Called in for a drink, very old fashioned room, no wifi, disinterested barman could hardly get his eyes off his phone to serve. Tables were all dirty.

Rod and reel, nice food and drinks. Has a pool table and a TV. Smells a but smokey but over all quite a nice place.
