If you like your history don't miss this trip back in time. The small chapel has been restored and filled with many of the ancient stones and tomb lids from the surrounding area. Plenty of information is displayed inside to give you an understanding of...More

Small atmospheric chapel . Big draw for us was the nearby deserted white sand beach overlooking the sound of Jura . Was truly beautiful!

A gorgeous beach close to Chapel. Get here early to enjoy the total peaceful aspects of this great part of Argyll. If the weather is great, a top beach on a par with Tiree. Around 40 mins from Tayvallich, road is fine.

Enjoyed a return visit to this remote but accessible chapel with its fascinating ancients stones. Well worth the long drive down the side of Loch Sween.

The Chapel is at a remote position. I like the way of restoring and saving the building with a glass roof, not to re-build it. The collection of decorated slabs from several places is impressive. The description tables are helpful to understand the teporal and...More

The Chapel is a beautiful restored space featuring decorated grave slabs dating back to the 14th century. There are interpretation boards describing each stone, most of which seem to be commemoration stones for soldiers. It's a lovely space with a modern glass roof giving it...More

After visiting the chapel a walk to the staggeringly beautiful beach is a must. With views of Jura dominating the skyline and a long expanse of silver sand the waters here invite the visitor to dip their toes. Well worth the long drive there and...More
