About
Fyne Ales is located on a working farm in Argyll at the head of Loch Fyne, an area renowned for its excellent natural produce. We are a team who are passionate about brewing outstanding and progressive craft ales.We have a great bar on site, where you can sit and enjoy a tasting flight of a selection of our beers, or a few pints of your favourite. We also serve beef pies made from our own highland beef, which is also available to buy in the shop. Brewery tours can be arranged when the Brewers are available.

    Oktoberfest
Went to Oktoberfeat on Saturday the 30th of September. Fantastic little brewery, on an amazing plot of farm land! The staff were outstanding, they were dressed up for the occasion and so friendly, I had my 5 year old twins with me and they had plenty of large outdoor toys to keep them entertained, live music, a wonderful pizza stand and a brownie stand that had food to die for with beverages to match, I was on the coffee, which was also very nice despite it not being their main seller. I throughly enjoyed taking my parents and my kids there, we will be back very soon!

    A Fyne Find
Stumbled across a sign for Fyne Ales whilst walking around Loch Fyne. Followed the path to find a brewery on a farm! There is a cosy tap room. Didn’t go on the tour instead I indulged in a flight of the delicious ales. Ronnie and Adam were very friendly and talked me through the selection. Jarl is my favourite. I bought a mixed case and another couple of gems from the shop. A great way to spend an afternoon and now I have a new range of beers to explore. A bit like Arnie Jarl be back.

    Unexpected, and amazing!
This place was so cute and unexpected! We were on a drive from Kennacraig to Glasgow and stopped off for a bathroom break and drink. We got to see some coos on the drive in, and the inside of the building was beautiful! They offer drinks on side, cans to go, and merchandise to purchase. Cards accepted, WiFi, and plenty of places to sit! Would love to return.

I had an idea the tap.room was there, but I'd agreed to drive, which was a mistake, as I got mugged off with a cola.

Excellent ales (we bought some to take back to the lodging), and very reasonable pricing on the draught. I had a sip of the wife's and found it lovely.

For all it was pouring down, great canvas covered outdoor seating which we pleasant to sit and watch the weather.

Very friendly staff in bar / shop. Dog friendly as well.

Just a shame it's difficult to find the cans South of the border.

We have driven passed a few times over the last couple of years but always just too late to safely take the access road. I had enjoyed a pint of their IPA at the Colintraive Hotel the previous evening so set of for lunch at Loch Fyne intent on finding the "source" It is well signposted from the main road and then a further 4 or 500 metres down a gravel track to the brewery - as it says, in a farm! but with all the tech that goes with brewing. The bar and shop are really well fitted out.....we simply didn't have enough time to fully explore everything on offer, well staffed and all very helpful, outdoor beer garden, huge choice of beers and packaging..........carried some home and resolved to head back soon.

Love this place - possibly because the ales are quite the 'Fynest', my favourite being Jarl. We take friends, family and Workaways with us whenever we go, just to sit in the courtyard and drink.... and drink. Tour is great too and the guides truly bring it alive asnd all you feel when you are there is heart and passion.

Heart and passion reflected in the ales as well and this is a place I would thoroughly recommend. Oh and btw if you get a chance by some venison as it's really good and bred there.

Thanks so much for visiting - and leaving a review - always hugely appreciated. Move Venison boxes will be up on the website during September if all goes according to plan! Hope to welcome you back again soon. cheers, Jamie

Great beer and a lovely shop with some tables inside and a bigger beer garden area. There was no food available the day we visited which made our visit a lot shorter than it might have been. Friendly staff, sanitiser, masks and clean toilets. Would return if we were in the area and may now buy their beer from elsewhere. We would love them to do some food so we could make an afternoon of it.

We went for a pint and a bite to eat and ended up buying quite a lot beer to take away. If you're a fan of real ale and craft beers, this is the place for you. Next time, hopefully, they'll be running tours again. The beer is simply, excellent.

Really enjoyable afternoon spent in the inside bar/shop area. If the weather had been better we would have sat on the benches outside. Tasted several different ales and also had a sharing platter for a food snack.

Popped in to sample and browse. Came away with a little collection of ales and stout. Have since tried the Imperial stout - wow. Absolutely lovely. Yet to try the all the ales, but based on ones so far am not going to be disappointed. Lovely beer garden on site.

We had tasted the Loch Fyne lager in The Loch Fyne Hotel and Spa and thought we’d pop in to buy some. Unfortunately the lager is only available on draught which was disappointing but member of staff, didn’t get his name.... was so helpful. I explained I was looking for something for my dad and he explained the differences in types and flavours. He even let us taste a couple. He showed us special offers....a real asset to your business! Will definitely tell family and friends to pop in when passing!

Thanks so much for the kind review - we love our team! We've now got the Fyne Lager in 5 litre party-kegs as a trial, so drop in if you're coming back this way, or you can grab them on the webshop. Hopefully they will be a permanent line this summer. cheers, Jamie

Considering I don’t normally drink ale or beer, I managed to happily quaff half a flight of beers with my husband. I liked the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Nothing pretentious but the ale and craft beers were outstanding. Even the coffee was superb. This is a great place to visit.
