Decided, on impulse, to visit the gardens yesterday, as we had not been for a few years. We were particularly keen to see the house which has recently been restored and is now open to view. The gardens - outstandingly beautiful, as always - especially on an icy-cold spring morning. Lots of features we had not seen before, such as... More

We visited Inverewe Gardens last week for a talk and a guided walk through the gardens. Both were interesting and informative and very well presented. The Gardens are having a number of other events during this year. If you are in the area they are worth having a look at.

We visited Inverewe with my nieces for their advertised cadburys egg hunt on Easter Monday! The gardens were looking fabulous and the views are lovely! However we had a very disappointed 4yr old! Luckily the 6yr old enjoyed doing the countries tour game even though she had done it previously! But there was nothing to do with an egg hunt... More

We spent 4 hours exploring the whole estate, it was that good. The property is in the custody of The National Trust for Scotland, so our England&Wales NT cards got us in for nowt, but we still thought it would be well worth the money. Large car park. Not enough loos that were actually open during our visit. Didn't reckon... More

NTS has invested significantly in this property over the last few years. The gardens were looking lovely; we were there on a cold spring day just before easter so the walled garden was not in full bloom nonetheless had plenty of interest. The real star is the house which has now been restored and integrated as the family home it... More

This must be one of my favourite places - it is looking great at the moment, but always good at any time of year

With only Dad still with us it was a poignant visits jay brought back wonderful memories. Fabulous gardens and I loved the house - restored to... More

We had a great visit to Inverewe Gardens this week with our 9 year old and 5 year old. They had a blast running around following the kids maps that we were given at the ticket desk. They have opened up the old house so you can go in and have a look around. There are fun activities for the... More

Weave visited these gardens on a number of occasions and at different times of the year. Something new and special to see every time. Most spectaclar was the giant pink magnolia in the midst of a snow storm in April! Could happily spend a whole week there. Great restaurant too.

We have been regular visitors for many tears, albeit with a gap over the past few years. Our holidays in the area wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable without a visit to Inverewe Gardens. The rhododendrons were a particular high spot during this visit.
