A lovely little museum with some fantastic fossils and a very enthusiastic 'curator'. Well worth a quick stop if you are nearby - the kids loved it and great to get some tips on where to go fossil collecting

We stopped off here before going to the footprints and thought it was fantastic. The museum itself if quite small in a lovely old bothy but in side is packed with awesome fossils and antiques with a good bit of information scattered about as well!...More

Well worth a stop! The meager admission fee is rewarded with an abundance of genuinely interesting local information provided by a passionate guide. What more could you ask for! My favorite stop of the day

Good little museum but only took a few minutes to look around Didnt mind the £2 entry fee. It is prob used to maintain the old building.

My wife was excited to go here as this advertised fossilized foot prints from dinosaurs. We found those but also many other things not associated with dinosaurs such as old farm tools, arrowheads, etc... Good paintings though were found here. Entry cost was 2 pounds...More
