I have been as high, on my motor bike, as 13000ft up in the Alps this is better. I've been here in rain, sunshine and mist, it needs to be a clear day to appreciate the views. Also not suitable for motor homes, the road...More

Very good road for car enthusiasts and street racers, also good for motorbike fans. Very twisty roads, roads are fairly narrow, enough space for one car, there are passing points. May need cars with larger engines as very steep inclines. Nice spots to take photos,...More

The courtesy of the majority of drivers on this single track road is terrific, only a few selfish people (usually from South of the Border judging by the number plates) make it difficult, but just slip into the passing places and be courteous and you'll...More

We drove the Bealach na Ba road Nov 10th and it was awesome! The scenery was beautiful and luckily there were very few cars on the road. We highly recommend this drive.

did it in the 50's in 2009 and again 2018 views are breathtaking and ample carpark space at the top. Road is quite narrow and camper vans will have fun!

This is a testing drive up and over a mountain. Very windy road which, for the most part, is single track. Would suggest anyone thinks of taking a caravan or motor home up and over - too many hairpin bends. Not great for the driver...More

While the roads are narrow, there are plenty of lay by's ( little pull offs) to allow others to go by. The views are breathtaking. I can't tell you how many photos we took. While the road is not long - allow lots of time...More

Sheildaig is lovely and has a good pub and restaurant. Applecross is lovely too but I think its not a good base, unless you like the hairy drive on a regular basis! We stayed in a lodge in Achintraid, just outside of Kishorn... More
