This was fabulous. A great day out. Bought a groupon voucher for my sister's birthday and she took me along as her plus one. A large variety of birds were there and handling was allowed. The lady doing the talk was very friendly and knowledgeable. Then you get to walk around the woods flying one of the birds. That is... More

I took my sons to this as a surprise and they loved it (they are 18 and 15) and they loved being so close to the birds. They are still talking about it months later.

In a two hour visit I flew a total of 4 birds Harris hawk,Eagle Owl,Barn Owl & Kestrel. The instructor was very informative and showed a great love for all the birds. This would be a great activity for all ages, even people in wheel chairs would manage as all paths etc. are on the flat. Email address is Info&raptorworld.co.uk this... More

Just finished a visit to Raptor World in Cupar with the Birds of Prey. The experience was amazing and extremely enjoyable. The member of staff (sorry never got her name) was friendly, easy to speak to, very knowledgeable about her subject and made the visit fun and exciting. The birds all looked relaxed and in good condition and it was... More

We went to the Scottish Deer Centre on Sunday after I bought a voucher for a Bird of Prey Experience. It was a brilliant two hours and I would gladly do it again. The falconer was very informative, she talked us through all of the birds, we had a lot of time handling them. The walk round the site with... More

This is an experience you mustn't miss - the guide/instructor was super, very informative, friendly and interactive, ensuring everyone gets the same opportunity to participate. Loads of up-close interaction with the birds - with different range of activities from holding the birds, them being sent off, then instructed to swoop in and collect their food from your hand. Highly recommended,... More

My daughter (7) and I recently came for a Beak to Beyond experience. It was something I had always wanted to do, and my daughter was equally as keen. She handled and flew the birds and I was the spectator. Our host , Kirsten , was very knowledgeable and friendly ,and was fantastic with my daughter. The Birds of Prey... More

We were staying at Loch Rannoch on holiday and decided to visit Raptor World and enjoy a half day experience - split around lunch. From 11.00 until 12.30 we met the birds and then walked around the woods with a Harris hawk and then had lunch in the Deer Centre Tea Room. After lunch we watched the daily winter flying... More

We stop here every year, and every year we are thrilled to experience our interaction with the Birds. The Falconess is an outstanding host and very knowledgable .If you find yourself in Fife and you don't build a Beak to Nose experience into your trip you are missing out.
