The day started with pouring rain (be absolutely ready with your waterproof gear and binoculars!). When we set off the rain stopped and we had a magic day at sea and on the isle with splendid sunny spells! The May Princess boat is solid and...More

Fantastic trip and the crew are just fantastic pointing out everything of interest. We had a really interesting return journey in that we had to go and tow another boat back and the hilarity this caused with the crew was just great to see.

We had an amazing afternoon at isle of may! The weather wasn't great but we still saw so many puffins and other birds, as well as some seals, the nature on the isle is spectacular. The boat ride was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

We've been a few times now. The puffins are the star attraction, largely because they are so interesting! The arctic terns can be a bit protective so worth taking a hat or a stick to holt up high if they are protecting chics. Take a...More

We (2 adults and 4 children) got very wet on the Isle of May, and only saw one puffin on land, though we saw several flying. Mind you, it is the end of the season. However the skipper and the crew on the May Princess...More

There is no café on the Island, but the snack bar on the boat remains open during your stay. The visitor centre and toilets are just a very short distance from where we tie up the boat, not a steep climb and should not cause... More
