A beautiful place to visit. We were lucky as the weather was glorious for December. Two full days of brightness, with enough coffee shops and bars for a couple of nights.

Anstruther has a beautiful harbour, we are so glad we stayed there. There are plenty of shops, bars and quirky attractions to keep you busy. The sun rises and sun sets (if you get lucky with the weather) are stunning.

Lots of sailing boats at this village harbour. No longer used for fishing but it is home to the local RNLI station. You can pop in for a look at the lifeboat and find out all about the history of the local area and volunteer...More

We walked across to Anstruther during our recent holiday in Pittenweem. A very interesting harbour, good choice of pub/restaurants, interesting shops for a wander. A museum at the end of the harbour before you continue to Cellardyke.

Anstruther harbour is very pretty for a leisurely stroll. There are several very nice eateries and bars. The Boathouse serves food and wine, and has live entertainment on Saturday/Sunday. It’s a good base for touring the east neuk.

Lovely area to visit with a the marina and harbour to one side and shops on the other. A popular spot due to award winning chippie at one end plus other pubs, restaurants and shops. Ample parking beside the harbour. Worth visiting.
