The wind in your hair ... the smell of fresh seaweed ... the sound of waves crashing on the shoreline ... the chorus of gulls overhead .... the perfect spot for an idyllic dander!

First impressions it’s no Benone Strand, small beach, sand quality just ok, the sea was calm and inviting, so small I had to walk my dog up and down six times. Nevertheless my dog thoroughly enjoyed it, however the backdrop is very picturesque

We loved the time spent we spent there and would return to visit the area again. Our drive over to the Ballygally Castle took us through the the mountain roads , where we could the the snow laden fields that sloped towards us.

Well maintained tidal beach but can be busy in the summertime. Shop, hotel and car parks adjacent to the beach. Scenery spectacular.

Whilst staying in the area, this is a lovely sandy beach when the tide is out, lots of dog walkers, and also a lovely view of the Mull of Kintyre can be seen on a clear day.

Beautiful view, not much beach area and lots of vegetation had washed up on shore. There is a small bench area to sit and enjoy view.
