We have visited these gardens many times and this year again they are looking wonderful. However, we were rather disappointed with the tearoom which used to be one of the highlights of our visit. The self service system is very slow and muddled. The greatest...More

I arrived at Glenarm Castle with an elderly friend. We first had coffee - which was nice but the accompanying pear and almond tart was served with a hollow where the pear should have been and seemed to be the remnants of an old tart...More

And a lovely coffee shop serving a small selection of hot food and sandwiches. Gardens are fantastic with an amazing array of fruit trees. Well worth £6 entry fee.

Stunning floral borders. From the hot borders, packed full of reds and yellows, to the cooler borders of blues and pastels. Fabulous trees, fruit, flowering, pines, and unusual bark. Lovely herb garden and kitchen garden. Enjoyed the jaunt up the mount to see the views....More

Lovely gardens, which we were amazed to find is tended by only one gardener with help from his son. We were here in August and the blooms were spectacular. Tea rooms are good as well, though only had coffee so can't comment on the food.

The castle itself is private but on most days you can visit the gardens. Beautiful planting, well maintained including an old-fashioned greenhouse.

Quirky, romantic mini castle in a quaint sleepy village. As weather was good we got to enjoy our personal roof terrace. Well equipped, clean and private. Great base to explore other little towns/villages along the coast. Will definitely return.

Dogs are not allowed in the gardens or surrounded area. The only walk we saw was along the coast just outside Glenarm.
