Dan took our family out kayaking to Old Harry Rocks. A fantastic experience for our boys (8, 10 and 11). Dan was great fun and knowledgable, and very patient with us given the wind made the kayak out a little more challenging than usual! Thoroughly recommend this as a great way to experience the best Studland has to offer, and... More

We went today for kayaking, having never been kayaking before I was a little apprehensive, however I was put at ease almost immediately by Dan, his professionalism was paramount, exceptional knowledge of the area, taking the trip that one step further! Highly recommended!

My son and I have just had the most brilliant morning kayaking to Old Harry Rocks! Dan was great, really knowledgeable, very entertaining and great with people. We both had a fab time. I would highly recommend doing this if you are in the area. Thanks Dan! 😃

We came down to studland for the day with some friends and planned a day kayaking to Old Harry rocks. We are an experienced group although any formal qualifications we have are from our teenage years. We asked to hire 3 single sea kayaks ad were treated with a very flat do you have BCU3* and when we said no... More

Apologies that you feel let done by your experience, we always pride ourselves on our friendly service so it is a shame that we did not meet our usual high standards for you. To clear up any confusion we clearly state on our website that we only hire sea kayaks to competent kayakers of the correct level (BCU 3* or... More

Me and my partner decided to book a kayaking trip to Old Harry's Rocks with Studland Sea School and at first, I was a little nervous about kayaking and being at sea. Upon arriving at Middle Beach we met with Dan and Ed and they immediately put me at ease. Dan is a fantastic instructor and makes you feel safe... More

Brilliant fun filled morning with Dan and Ed who took us out in a group of 12 (two man canoes) to Old Harry Rocks and back. Dan and Ed are both very friendly and warm making us feel at ease straight away. Th combine being funny and making some serious safety points well. The day itself was grey and a... More

Despite booking 6 months in advance, we were disappointed to have our kayak foraging tour cancelled because Studland Sea School prioritised sending their forager to Bestival over honoring our booking. This proved especially inconvenient as we had also booked a non-refundable hotel solely to attend the tour, leaving us significantly out of pocket. Studland Sea School handled the cancellation so... H again Andy, It is with regret that we were expecting such a 'review' from yourself and feel very upset that you felt it necessary to do so as we felt that we have explained now quite extensively why the booking was canceled. Perhaps it was the fact that we would not compensate you to cover 'your disappointment at having... More

Dan ran us a fantastic tour out to Old Harry's Rocks, in stable sit on top kayaks. You could get really close and see all the stacks and caves we even paddled under a rock arch. Plenty of wildlife to watch around the cliffs.

I booked for 6 people, originally to go kayaking in August, but hurricane Bertha put pay to that! Re-arranging the trip was no problem at all; the staff were very helpful in sorting out the re-arranged booking. We eventually decided to go at the beginning of September, we were lucky that it was a nice day, not too hot or... More
