What a fantastic little pub!
The family came in one sunday for a couple of drinks and ended up having a sunday roast! Although its preferred to book in advance we explained and the landlord was very understanding.
Food was delicious and very well priced.
Visiting Portland for a mini break with the family and the house we were renting was less than 50m from the George. Great pub, both welcoming and friendly as well as serving a good range of drinks and very good food. Recommended

We were a large party , and had a fabulous Christmas meal there where no complaints just empty plates .
The chefs and kitchen staff must have worked hard to cook and present plates of food that tasted as good as they looked .
