I visited Corfe Castle on Easter Sunday to do the Cadburys Easter Egg hunt with my toddler. We love visiting Corfe Castle and the hunt made it even more fun! My little one loves climbing and this is a brilliant place for that! Parking is a little sparse so it's advisable to get to Corfe early!

The weather was great, sadly that means that there were a lot of people, but what can you do. The ruins are nice to have a look around and is one of the best places to stop in this part of England.

Great afternoon spent at core castle, walking around the ruins. Very interesting. Great day for kids, with little activities for them to take part in. Dog friendly. Definitely worth a visit if the sun is shining.

We loved the Corfe Castle ruins and thank you to the National Trust for doing such a wonderful job maintaining them. The history of the castle was fascinating and it was an easy walk up and around the ruins with wonderful views from the top. A very photographic castle (or what's left of it!)

This is our third visit here and it never disappoints. A spectacular ruin, steeped in history with magnificent views. It is definitely worth taking the time to talk to the volunteers - they are very knowledgeable and love to share. It was a shame to see so many families allowing children to climb on the ruins - it is an... More

We visited Corfe Castle as National Trust members. The children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and the adults explored the ruins and incredible views across Dorset!! Well worth a visit but in conjunction with something else as it only takes a maximum of 2 hours to look around!!!

This is a ruined castle in a great hilltop position. When I say ruined, I mean ruined. It is very old, and frankly there isn't a whole lot of it left. So it's interesting historically, but if you have children who like playing "Harry Potter" and exploring the secret passages and towers of ancient castles, they'll be disappointed with this... More

Being a National Trust member we took advantage of visiting Corfe Castle. Great walk up if a little tiring, we went the long way around. I wouldn't say it was a full day out, more like half a day, you could perhaps go into the village and have some lunch etc and look around after. Well worth a visit if... More

To me, this is not Corfe Castle which is known for its rich English heritage, this is Kirrin castle from Enid Blyton's Famous Five series. Each and every step I took there reminded me about Famous five and my childhood days where I spent a lot of time reading these books. I read that there is a 'Famous Five point'... More
