Loved this stretch. Beautiful even on a dull day. Will definitely do again when I next get a chance when it’s sunny.

Brilliant location. Plenty of room in the bungalow sleeps 6. Dated but clean. Easy and quick trips to many beautiful locacations. Lots to do. Children and pet friendly .

This is one of the less challenging sections of the SWCP and one which some may find less interesting too, but the slight diversion into the delightful village of Abbotsbury is well worth the extra distance and time.

We stay at the Ilchester Arms in Abbotsbury and the walk from there along the south west coast path is wonderful and the views are stunning and will not disappoint at any time of year.

For a few miles east of Abbotsbury the path is way inland from the coast. For a mile around Abbotsbury itself the path provides great views both east and west. However, from there on to as far as Burton Bradstock the path is close to...More
